Morgan Cooney, E.I.T., serves as Civil Engineering Technician. His civil engineering career has included work for both public agencies and private consulting firms, affording him comprehensive experience that includes water resources management, planning, and design; hydraulic modeling; and wastewater and stormwater analysis and design. Morgan holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from UC Merced and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley. Raised locally in Sonoma Valley, Morgan was drawn to Brelje & Race by the firm’s emphasis on local North Coast projects, including many that conserve the region’s limited water resources. Morgan is active in the local civil engineering community, currently serving as Vice President of the ASCE Redwood Empire Chapter. Out of the office, you can find Morgan playing the guitar, hiking with his wife and dog, and attending San Francisco Giants games.
