Isabel Rodriguez serves in the role of Civil Engineering Technician. Originally hailing from Ukiah, Isabel attended Chico State University where she was encouraged by friends to consider Civil Engineering as a career path. Though the coursework was challenging she found it rewarding to learn and master new subjects. As an officer of the campus chapter of the Society of Women Engineers she helped lead the annual Imagineer Day event, using lab activities to teach engineering concepts to local grade school students. Isabel graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in May 2022 and is proud to be the first generation in her family to earn a college degree. Isabel was attracted to Brelje & Race by the firm’s emphasis on work-life balance and the ability to learn under the mentorship of a large pool of professional engineers. In her free time, you’ll find Isabel cooking, weightlifting, snowboarding, and enjoying time with family and friends.
