Morgan Cooney, E.I.T., joins the Brelje & Race team as Civil Engineering Technician. His career has included work for both public agencies and private consulting firms, affording him comprehensive experience that includes water resources management, planning, and design; hydraulic modeling; and wastewater and stormwater analysis and design. Morgan holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from UC Merced and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley. Raised locally in Sonoma Valley, Morgan was drawn to Brelje & Race by the firm’s emphasis on local North Coast projects, including many that improve efficient use of the region’s limited water resources. Out of the office, you can find Morgan playing the guitar, hiking with his wife and dog, and attending San Francisco Giants games.
Quortney Brazier joins in the role of Accounting Assistant, where he will work closely with the Controller to ensure smooth operation of the company’s accounts payables and accounts receivables. Prior to joining Brelje & Race, he provided bookkeeping services to local retail and hospitality businesses. Originally hailing from Southern California, Quortney discovered his knack for accounting while working in the entertainment management industry. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. Outside the office you’ll find Quortney attending concerts, traveling, and practicing yoga.
Luz Isabel Rodriguez joins in the role of Civil Engineering Technician, where she'll contribute on public works water and wastewater projects. Raised in Ukiah, Isabel graduated this Spring with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from CSU Chico. She was attracted to Brelje & Race by the firm’s emphasis on work-life balance and the ability to learn under the mentorship of a large pool of professional engineers. In her free time, you’ll find Isabel cooking, weightlifting, snowboarding, and enjoying time with family and friends.
