Brelje & Race Consulting Engineers has an opportunity for a civil engineering intern to join our team this summer. The intern will gain valuable exposure to the civil engineering field by supporting our team with the planning, design, and construction administration of civil engineering projects. This full-time position will be based in our office in Santa Rosa, California.
As a talented and detail-oriented student of civil engineering, you will support our team of civil engineers in the planning and design of projects such as public water and wastewater systems; public roads and trails; and school, winery, healthcare, commercial, and residential site developments. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the design of utility infrastructure and site improvements, conducting research and preparing calculations, and supporting with construction administration. You will work collaboratively with our team, gaining exposure to many aspects of professional civil engineering work and practical hand-on experience.
Up to 40 hours per week over the summer of 2026 (Exact start and end date to be arranged based on availability and school schedule).

Hourly compensation for this position is anticipated to be at least $25 per hour (exact compensation based upon experience and qualifications).
The position will be classified as temporary employment and will not receive benefits beyond those required by law.
